This role will be covering the Atlanta Market.
The Field Manager is responsible for managing the pre-installation readiness, installation, and completion of projects across multiple trades, including flooring, counters, solid surfaces, cabinets, and blinds. This role ensures all work is completed with the highest quality standards, meeting both builder and customer expectations.
Essential Functions
- Manage installation processes on job sites, including tracking materials, ensuring quality installations, and providing exceptional service to both internal and external customers.
- Coordinate with independent contractors to meet builder timelines and requirements while ensuring compliance with all safety and OSHA regulations.
- Conduct inspections and quality control to ensure work meets specifications and standards.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members as needed, including progress reports to leadership.
- Serve as a field expert to support the Customer Service Department and resolve issues efficiently.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications
- Clean driving record and a valid driver’s license.
- Proficient in the use of computers, handheld devices, and tablets, with knowledge of basic systems and applications.
- Strong ability to read and interpret plans, training materials, and operating instructions.
- Advanced mathematical skills to calculate figures such as percentages, area, circumference, linear feet, and square footage.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
- Proven leadership experience in managing teams or crews in a construction environment.
- 5-7 years of experience in trades such as tile, wood, vinyl, carpet, countertops, and cabinets.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, and stoop for 8+ hours.
- Minor lifting and carrying may be required.
Work Environment
- Work is performed at construction jobsites and office locations.
