Role Description:

Katalyst is in search of a Project Manager to steer our team through an exciting period of growth. This unique position is designed for individuals who thrive in dynamic roles, integrating product management (20%), engineering management (30%), and project management (50%).

You'll collaborate with government customers and prime contractors, and work closely with our Head of Product and Technical Lead to identify and mitigate project risks. Key Responsibilities:

Work with cross-functional team members to establish project scope and objectives
Decomposition of high-level objectives into manageable tasks
Regularly update the roadmap through the Integrated Master Schedule

Collaborate closely with Katalyst’s Product Manager and Technical Lead to ensure the successful execution of key milestones and deliverables
Coordinate internal resources to accomplish project objectives and timelines effectively
Provide updates to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
Manage external relationships with suppliers, consultants, subcontractors, and customers
Engage with the Head of Product to align project objectives with broader product strategies, ensuring cohesive progress towards strategic objectives
Exhibit ownership over execution end-to-end technical project

Qualifications:

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
Familiarly with engineering and project management practices
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Passion for commercial space activity
Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
Strong organizational skills to maintain scope, budget, and timeline
Strong digital skills for data management, analysis, presentation, and communication
Proficiency in MS Project and other project management tools
3+ years of project management experience

Desired:

Experience in aerospace industry
Experience with government contracts acquisitions
Familiarity with the space environment, commercial space operations, or robotics
Technical background and familiarity with technical processes and systems
System design-oriented mindset
