What You Will Be Doing:

Manage and direct the companies purchasing activities including technology purchases, mobile telecommunications, furniture, equipment and supplies. Develop, review and maintain corporate purchasing policies, systems and procedures to ensure compliance to corporate goals and objectives. Provide oversight and direction for operation of the Supply Department and assigned Purchasing staff. Oversee continued training and development of employees. Research supply sources, vendors and potential suppliers, and makes recommendations to Director regarding procurement options. Develop annual department budget for review and approval by General Services leadership and provides quarterly variance reporting.

What We're Looking For:

• Provides purchasing program direction over office supplies, branded apparel and promotional products, leased equipment, mobile communications, and technology acquisition.
• Helps assigned employees in the areas of RFP development, vendor and/or product assessment and selection processes.
• Employs proven project management principles and methodologies to organize and coordinate long term projects in support of company operations.
• Engages in vendor relationship management to ensure diversity of business partners and meeting cost efficiency standards.
• Develops strategy to optimize space planning and development of commercial office furniture specifications to provide ergonomic and aesthetically pleasing work environments.
• Monitors, promotes and reinforces a high level of business ethics among assigned staff.
• Experience in leadership roles with supporting insurance operations and/or procurement activity being desirable.
• Other duties may be assigned to meet ongoing business needs.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
