Responsible for providing neuropsychological services (assessment, intervention, consultation and education, feedback) to patients, families, hospital staff at Shepherd Center.

Accountabilities:
- Completes neuropsychology assessments and reports in a timely and accurate manner (10 days).
- Provides and documents neuropsychological interventions in an efficient manner.
- Regularly attends and actively participates in weekly clinical supervision.
- Attends medical rounds and team conference at the direction of supervisors.
- Attends and actively participates in didactic conferences as directed by the Fellowship Program Director.
- Coordinates and participates in neuropsychology fellowship seminar. Arranges guest speakers, in-house presentations, and selects topics and appropriate reading materials. Regularly presents in seminar or participates in fact finding each semester
- Supervises Graduate students as directed by clinical supervisors.
- Actively participates in the Neuropsychology research program by assisting in recruitment and submission of neuropsychological evaluation data for the Shepherd Center Neuropsychology Data Registry. Evidences effective research planning and implementation skills as evidenced by generation of research goals, compilation of data, analysis of information, and submission of articles/posters for publication/presentation.
- Conducts neuropsychological testing as determined by supervisor direction.
- Accurately enters billing charges for all patient and family encounters in a timely fashion. Responds to billing questions promptly.
- Adheres to legal and ethical principles governing the practice of Clinical Neuropsychology.
- Complies with Shepherd Center policies and procedures.
- Provides coverage notes and team reports to facilitate continuity of patient and family care during planned absences.
- Demonstrates professional interpersonal skills by maintaining professionalism in all interactions, has effective conflict resolution, accepts constructive critical feedback in a non-defensive manner and maintains confidentiality, as appropriate, in all interactions. Communicates pertinent information to the appropriate team members using appropriate channels in a professional manner. Inter-and intra-departmental misunderstandings are rare and quickly addressed and corrected.
- Exhibits effective use of time and resources. Demonstrates flexibility, sets priorities and delegates when necessary. Able to take on additional tasks/Accountabilities and offers assistance to others as able.

Qualifications:
- Graduate of an APA-accredited program in Clinical Psychology.
- Completion of an APA-accredited internship.
- Completion of specialized predoctoral training in Clinical Neuropsychology which meets APA Division 40 and Houston Conference guidelines.

-BLS Certification Required.
