Job Summary

The Senior Compensation Analyst is responsible, under general direction, assist in all phases of the development, implementation, and administration of the company's compensation policy and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities (other duties as assigned)

  • Research complex compensation issues and prepare recommendations related to compensation analysis, planning and strategy.
  • Provide strong support in the design, implementation, administration, and documentation of annual salary and variable compensation review cycles
  • Coordinate the participation in general industry and industry specific compensation surveys; interpret data, make recommendations and proposals
  • Support / lead the compiling, analyzing and interpreting of job evaluations to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.
  • Provide guidance to less experienced compensation staff.
  • Generate ad hoc reports from the HRIS database for internal use and management’s review.
  • Assist in Workday development for Compensation.
  • Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as required.

Education, Experience & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Five (5) to eight (8) years experience required
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) desired

Functional Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong working knowledge and utilization of Word, Excel, Access and Lotus Notes
  • Familiarization with PeopleSoft HRIS highly desirable
  • Excellent computer analysis and data presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and make independent decisions
  • Must be knowledgeable in Wage and Hour laws and regulations and compensation theory and processes
