Guardian is hiring a Vendor Management Analyst to play a crucial role in the implementation of the recently restructured and formalized enterprise vendor management program and the subsequent day-to-day execution of related activities. This role will collaborate with different internal team members and external collaborators to manage various aspects of coordinating vendor relationships throughout the entire third-party life cycle. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and facilitating business reviews for both internal team members and external vendor partners to regularly assess performance, resolve issues and actively evaluate opportunities to drive additional value from Guardian’s third-party relationships.

You will

  • Coordinate and conduct internal and external third-party business reviews in alignment with supplier segmentation requirements.
  • Assist with the implementation and ongoing execution of a comprehensive vendor performance management framework that proactively monitors the effectiveness of third parties against business expectations and measures.
  • Partner with Sourcing / Category Management team to ensure vendor contracts have measurable Service Level Agreements (SLAs) that have been defined and the associated reporting mechanisms have been established.
  • Monitor identified third-party issues and ensure action plans for remediation have been developed, are being followed and status is being communicated to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with collaborators, customers, and team members.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including our Legal, Finance & Risk and Technology partners to collate vendor specific data points.
  • Maintain and analyze vendor related data to produce supplier insights for vendor dashboards.
  • Participate in coordinating and conducting vendor related events including vendor summits and knowledge sharing sessions.

You have

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of Vendor Management experience including roles with responsibility for third-party performance monitoring and issue management.
  • Strong understanding of the end-to-end third-party lifecycle including hands. on experience producing vendor management artifacts associated with the various lifecycle phases.
  • Excellent analytical problem solving.
  • Comfortable communicating and interacting with collaborators at varying levels organizationally.
  • Excellent organizational skills with outstanding attention to detail and ability to manage several priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • High proficiency in the usage of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint along with other Microsoft Office Suite applications.

Preferred Experience and Skills

  • Project Management experience.
  • Business Process Engineering/Mapping experience.

Location
This is a flexible position requiring 2 days per week in the office, with preference given to candidates within commuting proximity to a Guardian office, preferably Holmdel, NJ, or New York.

Salary Range

$80,940.00 - $132,975.00

The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
