About the Senior Director, Growth role
The Sr. Director will be a key part of net new logo acquisitions for Material. We are looking for a leader to spearhead the growth of our customer experience & digital solutions business. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of driving revenue and building strong customer relationships. With a deep understanding of cloud, data, and integration technologies, the candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing high-value opportunities, leading sales cycles and fostering partnerships to accelerate our growth.
As a Senior Director, Growth you will
Leverage strong business acumen and have the ability to translate technical offerings into engaging discussions with stakeholders to demonstrate business impact & ROI
Identify potential customers for Material offerings based on industry connections & personal network. Develop marketing strategies to reach out, connect & start sales conversations focused on Customer Experience, Product Engineering or Tech
Utilize good working understanding of digital transformation tenets that include experience design, customer journey, segmentation, personalization & marketing technologies
Plan, present & coordinate technology solutions with cross functional teams across the organization & partnerships
Help Develop & lead Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies in partnership with leadership team & partners
Be an expert at relationship-building. Ability to establish enduring client connections, rooted in advanced solutioning sales expertise
A knack for problem-solving, proposing innovative solutions to address complex client challenges, using extensive technology sales experience
Generate new business opportunities through lead follow-up and prospecting of potential customers. This role is accountable for finding, targeting and qualifying new opportunities that span across customer experience, product engineering, cloud or data technologies.
About you
A total of 15+ years in enterprise/B2B within the context of running a highly technical solutioning/ sales processes across Cloud, Data or Integration Technologies.
10+ years of relevant experience working across Customer Experience Technologies, product engineering, Data & Cloud
An understanding of the Cloud offerings for business & technical use cases across Data, Sales, Service and Modern Application Architectures
Conversant with topics such as SRE, Cloud Native Stacks, Cloud Migration Strategies, Composable Architectures, MACH Alliance and data platforms
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills honed through experience in technology sales. Ability to lead the consultative sales process, ultimately accountable for new business closure in technology
Roll-up-your-sleeves attitude to execute on sales & ability to engage customers with excellent targeted questioning skills
Superior verbal communication skills and confidence in interacting with senior level executives
Self-discipline and responsible time management
Full-cycle sales process knowledge
Understanding & experience with Salesforce ecosystem
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Willingness to travel up to 50%

Pay Range: $140,000 - $175,000
The range shown represents a grouping of relevant ranges currently in use at Material. Actual range for this position may differ, depending on location and specific skillset required for the work itself.
