Challenge
We are seeking an experienced Jira Administrator to manage and optimize our project management tools, with a focus on Jira. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Jira administration, API integration, automation, and technical program management. This role will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our Jira environment, implementing best practices, driving process improvements across the organization, and managing integrations between Atlassian tools and other internal business systems.

What you'll do
Jira Administration
- Manage and maintain Jira instances, including configurations, and performance optimization
- Design and implement custom workflows, screens, fields, and dashboards to meet business requirements
- Monitor Jira logs for optimal performance and troubleshoot issues as needed API, Automation, and Integrations
- Develop and maintain integrations between Jira and other systems using REST APIs
- Create and manage automation rules to streamline processes and increase efficiency
- Manage and optimize integrations between Atlassian tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and other internal business systems such as Salesforce and Freshservice
- Ensure data consistency and synchronization across integrated platforms Technical Program Management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective Atlassian solutions
- Lead projects for Jira updates and migrations
- Develop and maintain documentation for Jira processes, workflows, and integrations
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align integration efforts with business objectives
- Leading system changes in alignment with agile methodologies and organizational agility User Support and Training
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Jira-related issues and integrations
- Conduct training sessions for end-users on Jira features, best practices, and integrated workflows
- Create and maintain user guides and training materials for Jira and related integrations Continuous Improvement
- Evaluate and recommend new plugins and integration solutions to enhance Jira functionality and cross-system workflows
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Atlassian product developments, integration technologies, and industry best practices
- Analyze current configurations and propose improvements to optimize workflows and user experience across integrated systems

In order to succeed in this position, you will need:

Mandatory skills
- Advanced/fluent English skills – Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Strong experience as a Jira Administrator
- Strong knowledge of Jira administration, configuration, and customization
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle
- Experience with API integrations, automation tools, and third-party system integrations (e.g., Salesforce,
Freshservice)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Groovy, Python) and SQL
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in technical program management, including project planning and execution
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex integrations between multiple business systems
- This role requires a combination of technical expertise in Jira administration, API integration, and automation, along with the ability to manage technical programs and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be able to balance day-to-day administration tasks with strategic initiatives to continually improve our Atlassian environment and its integrations with other critical business systems.

Nice to have
- Atlassian certifications (e.g., ACP-100, ACP-300) preferred.
