Purpose of Role: The Manufacturing Coordinator will support the manufacturing of spools, hoses, and rubber lined product by assisting shop personnel with entering orders, making sure materials are on hand, and inspecting designs and drawings to support engineering. They will coordinate with various personnel for project specific tooling, BOM’s, costing, and support for shipping and receiving. They will also be responsible for administrative duties such as collecting and analyzing cost details, managing job costing activities, and closing job orders in SAP.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support Manufacturing: Assist the Manufacturing Engineer with technical drawings and inspections. Conduct physical and visual inspections of parts and equipment, including material and chemical bond inspections.
- Communication and Efficiency: Promote regular communication to enhance group efficiencies and manage production performance. Act as the contact person between manufacturing, sales, and engineering teams.
- Administrative and Coordination Tasks: Validate purchase requisitions, maintain project schedules, and support communication and organization within the team. Conduct special analytical studies, review performance, and communicate expectations to management.
- Project and Process Support: Aid in project routing and processing, including fabrication, welding, and other manufacturing processes. Build and maintain project plans, lead planning sessions, coordinate resources, manage progress, and ensure deadlines are met.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
- Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for candidates that have the ability to perform the objectives above.
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
- 1-2 years of experience working in a manufacturing/fabrication shop
- Strong mechanical background
- Computer literacy is required
