Hiring Manager: Trade Marketing & Commercial Excellence Director

Key Responsibilities
This position will be responsible for developing trade marketing objectives, strategies and actions in respective category/range of consumer healthcare products in the marketplace. This role will also take lead to drive category development and promotions, optimize the profitability, grow market share and revenue in both short and long term, with key responsibilities summarized as follows:
Plan and implement the trade activation programs for campaigns/new product launches guided by the brand, trade marketing and channel strategies aligned with brand and sales team for the respective category/products, and subsequent evaluation.
Closely monitor the market/channel dynamics and performance, conduct analysis, and recommend actions or mitigation plan as appropriate.
Control and optimize trade marketing expenditure within approved budget.
Understand the overall purchase path, shopper insights and self-care needs, and support solutions to sales team for category management and shopper activations.
Drive cross function collaboration such as sales, marketing, regulatory, supply chain team etc. to drive through the process to ensure integrated execution, such as promo pack development.
Manage and drive the good quality of vendor deliverables for BTL activities.
Ensure that internal/external compliance requirements are met for all strategies and activities developed, including but not limited to HK regulations, Code of Conduct, Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Competition Law and Data Privacy.
Promptly report adverse events received from all interactions with customers or consumers such as field visits, sales meetings or calls, sales events.
Provide support of Haleon’s E-commerce development, including promotion activities arrangement, sales analysis, Haleon’s product presence/flagship stores at retailers’ e-shop, PLP and PDP, ad spend recommendation etc.
Support ad-hoc projects and act as champion for team’s initiatives.
Key Qualifications & skills
We are looking for professionals with below qualifications and skills to achieve our goals:
Bachelor’s Degree of Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
5+ years trade marketing experience within FMCG industry, preferably from personal care/ OTC/wellness related, with proven track record of achievements.
Experienced in new product launch and driving large scale campaign at trade level. Good
understanding of key account and drug store practices.
Strong strategic and analytical thinking with number sense.
Strong people influencing skills across the organization, from cross team stakeholders such as sales and marketing team, to senior management.
Proven team player and strong at driving collaboration and team alignment.
Strong communication and active listening skills.
Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Trade Marketing Manager
