Product certification engineer is responsible for the management of product certification to ensure the validation of the existing product certificate and obtain the product certificate for new projects / new markets.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Maintain existing product certificate to ensure that the certificate is within its validity period.
• Plan and Implement recertification to ensure all certificates being in valid
• Lead the product certification for new projects or new markets.
• Keep effective communication with certificate authority (Australia, MEA, American, etc.) with clear plan and outputs.
• Work out certificate timing plan by working together with team from R & D, quality, production, etc.
• Lead the testing samples on time preparation and delivery to test lab.
• Coordinate with testing laboratory (domestic and international testing agencies) to ensure product tests be completed as planned.
• Submit required documentations to certificate authority for final approval.
• Work out annual budgets for product certification and cost management.
• Performs all other duties from manager.

EDUCATION/ QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in product certificate for overseas. Experience with valve related product, or overseas certificate authority are preferable.
• Be proactive and multiple tasks management skills.
• Strong communication ability required internally and externally.
• Good oral/verbal/written English communication, interpersonal skills, leadership skills and problem-solving abilities are required.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

• Works in an office environment with regular exposure to the manufacturing floor.
