As a Senior Software engineer, you will be responsible for programming a component, feature and or feature set. Works independently and contributes to the immediate team and to other teams across business. You will also contribute to design discussions.

  • Providing technical leadership and defining, developing, and evolving software in a fast paced and agile development environment using the latest software development technologies and infrastructure
  • Providing technical leadership to an agile team of 5-7
  • Working with Product Line Leaders (PLLs) to understand product requirements & vision
  • Translating requirements / vision into prioritized list of user stories and deliver to required timelines and quality standards
  • Working with product line leaders and architects to develop multi generation software technology plans
  • Driving increased efficiency across the teams, eliminating duplication, leveraging product and technology reuse
  • Supporting process improvements which guide the development, sustaining & support activities
  • Coaching, mentoring and leading the team
  • Working cross functionally with other business departments to align activities and deliverables
  • Driving world-class quality in the development and support of products
  • Communicating effectively both within immediate team and also across SSG leadership team and with PLLs
  • Ensuring team receives consistent messages and has clear understanding of business direction, strategy and results
  • Engaging subject matter experts in successful transfer of complex domain knowledge
  • Applying principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques
  • Writing code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project
  • Understanding performance parameters and assess application performance
  • Working on core data structures and algorithms and implement them using technology chosen
  • sharing information across the team, to the right audience with the appropriate level of detail and timeliness

Fuel your passion
 

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have bachelor's degree in information systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering with a minimum of 7+ years of experience in supporting business applications and technologies to digitize business processes.
  • Have 3+ years of experience on managing technical design solutions on Force.com with a focus on Salesforce, Classic, Lightning, Visual Force, Apex, Java Services and integration techniques.
  • Have Object-oriented programming with at least one of the following object-oriented programming languages (Java, Python)
  • Have Salesforce implementation and development.
  • Have Enterprise-level Salesforce projects using SF Agile software Tools
  • Have experience working with Sales Cloud or Service Cloud or FSL – Field Service Lightening.
  • Have certifications with Salesforce / Mulesoft / Copado, for eg: Certified SFDC Administrator & Certified Platform Developer 1.
