Role Overview:
The Early Career Program at the World Economic Forum is seeking a dynamic and proactive individual to focus on business engagement with Chinese companies. This role is crucial for fostering collaboration and understanding between the Forum and major economic entities in China, focusing on cross team support and special and short-term project.

Team Introduction:
The selected candidate will be part of the Business Engagement team in Greater China. This team works closely with various stakeholders to ensure that the Forum's initiatives are aligned with the broader economic policies.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting internal processes and select projects in preparation for the Annual Meeting.
- Scheduling, and help preparing agendas throughout and capturing next steps for partner meetings including the pre-alignment meetings with internal stakeholders.
- Support in drafting external presentations to explain our value proposition and opportunities for the Annual Meeting and year-round engagement.
- Support the process of preparing and disseminating reports in the run up to the Annual Meeting.
- Act as one of the key points of contact and back up for the Partner services team.
- Work collaboratively and supporting the team with operational duties (pre-event registration, visas, hotel allocation) in partnership with the Event Services team.
- Help coordinate and follow up on accounting and finance matters.
- Perform data cleaning and collaborate with the digital success and TopLink teams.
- Support during the various stages of partner life cycle.
- Contribute to the cluster efforts to improve efficiency and excellence of operation through improvement projects, taskforces.
- Assist in organising Partner centric events, and team offsites/workshops.
Requirements:
- Major in International Business, Economics, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Relevant experience in business development, international relations, or a related area, with a specific focus on China.
- Strong understanding of the business environment and regulatory framework governing Chinese companies.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Strong Ownership and Team collaboration spirit
- Proficiency in Mandarin and English is essential.
