Job Description:
Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Technical Writing Representative. In this role you will prepare technical documents in support of IT-related projects. Develops and refines material for publication and makes recommendations; reviews and edits prepared materials. Requires the ability to write consistent and clear documentation, with the goal of explaining complex information simply and accurately. Experience interacting with technical personnel and using a variety of source material to produce documents. Knowledge of the design and production of technical documentation, and proficiency in word processing and desktop publishing required.
Responsibilities include:
- This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the documentation and understanding of complex technical systems while working in a collaborative and dynamic environment
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive documentation of standard operating procedures
- Maintain documentation standards and templates to ensure consistency and quality As project evolves, assist in training and onboarding new team members on technical processes and documentation standards
- Leverage data analysis and business process experience to improve and sustain the quality and integrity of data
- Audit data of various functional areas, and assist building data quality dashboards Setting up meeting agendas, creation of meeting communication packs, documentation of key meeting minutes, and following up on key meeting actions Support other team colleagues as needed
- Develop comprehensive documentation for end-to-end current state data and process flows, including inputs/outputs, stored procedures, ETL, API, or other data transfer/delivery protocols, and data transformations; present findings in clear manner to support project execution phase
- Create complex flow diagrams to visually represent intricate technical processes
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business processes and technical systems
- Translate technical information into clear, concise, and easily understandable documentation for various audiences
- Ability to work with stakeholders to help define accurate current state documentation and data quality requirements
Here's what you need:
- Technical writing skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively
- Experience creating complex flow diagrams
- Experience documenting end-to-end data and process flows across different technologies
- Business and technology acumen with the ability to understand both business requirements and technical implementations
- Experience with analytical, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills
- Experience in technology operations
- BA/BS or higher and at least 3 years of experience as a Technical BA and Technical Writer on information management projects (i.e., data governance, business intelligence, master data management), or equivalent experience
Bonus points if you have:
- Familiarity with data warehouse structures (both cloud and on premise)
- Ability to navigate through highly complex data environments
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to results
Security Clearance:
- Active TS/SCI clearance to start

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
