Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking a Technical Operations Project Manager that will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing technical projects with a dual focus on operational excellence and financial stewardship. This role requires a blend of project management expertise, technical knowledge, and financial acumen to ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans that include timelines, resource allocation, budget estimates, and financial projections.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and implement cost-control measures to ensure financial targets are met.
  • Financial Tracking:
    • Maintain a Purchase Order (PO) tracker listing expenses for the Innovation & DevOps teams.
    • Reconcile ledgers against the PO tracker and budget files.
    • Forecast monthly expenses for cost centers and submit capital requests for approval.
    • Track and log invoices received through Oracle for open POs.
    • Manage procurement requests and approvals.
  • Operations and Procurement:
    • Handle parts orders and maintain the Innovation Parts Tracking Spreadsheet.
    • Oversee international shipping processes using World Trade Shipping access.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders, highlighting project performance against budget and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Project and Legal Management: Manage legal reviews, contracts, NDAs, and POC/EIP documents.
  • Risk Management: Identify financial risks related to project execution and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring financial integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
    • Organize and attend monthly financial reviews with managers.
    • Collaborate with finance teams and contractors to ensure timely and smooth payment processes.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including budgets, schedules, status reports, and financial forecasts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of project management experience, preferably within a technical operations or financial role.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, and cost management.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects with financial responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, particularly in financial contexts.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in project management and financial software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Excel, Jira).
