About the role

At Tietoevry Care’s Data & Analytics unit we are reshaping healthcare and welfare services by providing our customers with advanced data-driven applications, AI solutions and cloud data platforms. Our Data & Analytics team consists of high-end professionals working in data science, data engineering, data advisory, cloud solutions, security and software development. We are a growing international team of talented, continuously improving experts working with latest technologies, innovative new solutions and creating wellbeing for the society

We are now looking for a (Senior) Data Scientist to join our Health & Care - Data & AI product development and customer deliveries. You will have an important role in developing and designing data science services and solutions on daily basis.

Your role and responsibilities will be jointly tailored according to you background and interests.

Your primary responsibilities will be:

• Developing machine learning models for our lakehouse customers

• Training privately hosted large language models for select use cases

• Applying prompt engineering in cases developed with the latest Azure OpenAI MAAS models

• Helping customers understand their data assets with advanced analytics

• Applying data modelling and cleaning for new customer cases and data requests

• Provisioning Azure DevOps Pipelines with Terraform

• Ensuring adequate monitoring of data products and machine learning models

• Participating as data and AI expert in multi-organisation clinical research projects

• Documentation as required by the regulations

• Concepting and developing Tietoevry product offering and supporting research projects

You will collaborate closely with a cross-functional team that includes software engineers, product managers, clinical experts, UX designers, and test engineers to ensure that our models and products meet the high standards required for real-world applications. You will also often collaborate with clinical and technical experts from customer organizations.
