We are looking for a Senior Asset Coordinator to join our team in Melbourne (Collins Street), responsible for managing the day-to-day operation and performance of our assets across Australia.

About The Role

In this role you will work as part of a small, dedicated team managing the portfolio of assets, focusing on safety, service delivery, and the effective operation the Group’s assets.   

Key responsibilities:

• Aid in the development and implementation of asset management strategies and processes to achieve optimal asset performance and operational efficiency.

• Recommend and advise on best fit for purpose assets.

• Oversee asset acquisitions, disposals, and lifecycle management, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

• Monitor and manage return requests, and potential redeployment opportunities.

• Manage the disposal of assets owned and leased with relevant partners.

• Analyse asset utilisation data to identify opportunities for improvement and cost reduction.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to optimise asset performance.

• Implement and monitor asset maintenance programs to ensure asset reliability and safety.

• Maintain asset records and prepare and analyse asset-related reports and metrics to inform decision-making.

• Manage vehicle movements and transport requests via external providers.

About You
Our ideal candidate will have:

• Demonstrated experience in asset management, with an emphasis on commercial assets such as heavy commercial vehicles and yellow goods.

• Ability to earn and create buy in, deliver creative solutions, ability to drive process improvement and efficiency.

• Knowledge of Asset related compliance and governance guidelines, including National Heavy Vehicle (NHVR) and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) Legislation.

• Proficiency in asset management software and systems.  Advanced in Microsoft applications including Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Tertiary or trade qualification in a relevant discipline is preferred but not essential.
