Annexus is a dynamic and fast-growing financial company in North Scottsdale and we have an immediate Annuities Operations Manager opportunity within our Ops team. This is a non-sales leader in our client services department reporting to the Director of Operations. This position is an in-office role in our beautiful North Scottsdale office.

This role will review new business applications for various annuity products and provide superior service to our clients and partners through pre- and post-sales issues. This role manages a client account list and assists the internal sales team in reviewing and processing business. This dynamic role may work on multiple projects at a time which requires balancing priorities, strong communication skills, and mental agility. Opportunity to work across multiple aspects of insurance operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Improve/develop Standard Operation Procedures, process improvements and risk mitigation
  • Work with tech to build operational infrastructure such as customer portals, workflow, etc.
  • Participation in operations model design and implementation activities
  • Analysis of data and processes and make recommendations to business leaders
  • Produce operational artifacts such as new customer correspondence, templates, Visio process flows, analytics, etc.
  • Assist in organizing effective, outcome-based meetings, capture take-aways and partner with project managers and leaders on driving projects through completion.
  • Partner with workstream leaders and participants in coordinating working sessions, follow ups, and executing next steps.
  • Project management and ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects to successful completion

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional client service and relationship-building skills
  • Professional written and verbal communication abilities both internally and with clients
  • Solid organizational, time management and problem-solving practices
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a part of a team
  • Bachelor's degree or 6+ years in a similar role, within an insurance organization
  • 2+ year of experience in team management or leadership
  • Proactive, strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex issues and find actionable solutions
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas effectively and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Advanced data analysis skills, including the ability to interpret and leverage data to make informed decisions
  • Enthusiasm about learning and adapting to the exciting world of AI – a commitment to exploring this field is a fundamental part of our culture
