Mō te tūranga | About the Role
Actively oversee and participate in the team’s test delivery by designing, developing, maintaining and executing effective, robust and scalable test solutions aligned to our agile quality engineering principles and best practice. This will include providing peer reviews within the WNZL community regarding the implementation of test strategies and solutions and driving shift left within the squad.
Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring?
- 1-5 years+ using commercial and/or opensource test tools across the test pyramid
- Practical experience in the design, implementation and execution of functional and automation test solutions, tools, and techniques
- Experience with test automation using Playwright, WebDriver IO, Cucumber, Selenium
- Experience with programming languages: JavaScript, TypeScript, Java
- Experience with mobile and web testing; including tools such as BrowserStack an advantage
- Familiarity with Jenkins Pipelines and CloudBees would be a bonus
- Experience in early and ongoing test automation to facilitate focus on prevention of defects
- Ensure that automation code is treated as production code and meets re-usability and standardisation
- A customer lens to all the work you do to build the best software product for our customers
- An agile mindset and experience collaborating closely with development teams to iteratively ship software and challenge the status quo
