Role Overview:
We are seeking a Creative Commercial Consultant based in the Regio Zuid-Holland area. In this role, you will partner with the Sales Field team to drive sales, enhance brand awareness, and expand the portfolio by educating salons and improving hairdresser skills. You will build strong relationships with salon owners and teams, engage in commercial discussions, and foster loyalty and trust. Act as the link between sales and education, offering creative solutions to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Sales team to increase sales and develop new business through targeted prospecting and distribution strategies.
• Conduct training sessions and demonstrate Kao Salon Division products and services to both new and existing accounts, acting as a positive Brand Ambassador.
• Develop and implement education plans, working closely with sales to support key accounts and achieve business targets. This includes creating training plans, organising events, and supporting in-salon training.
• Analyse salons to identify opportunities, enhance service levels, and provide tailored solutions that maximise creativity and business potential.
• Lead the education agenda, review progress against goals, and present the value of education confidently.
• Contribute to the Kao organisation through project-based work, process improvement, and supporting cross-functional initiatives. Be flexible to work at trade events, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Requirements:

• Based in Regio Zuid-Holland.
• Secondary school degree, fluent in Dutch and preferably English.
• Relevant certifications in sales or training.
• Proven experience in hairdressing and a deep understanding of salon products, techniques, and culture.
• Minimum of 3 years of industry experience with strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and social media; creative thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Self-motivated, task-oriented, and driven by solutions with a solid understanding of how education can add value to salon business.
