The Position

As a Cluster Lead - Enterprise Master Data Management Operations Ledger Domain, you are member of the EMDM Ops Leadership Team. In this role, you will be driving the overall execution of the team and for developing and holding the right capabilities, tools and standard approaches to deliver functional excellence. In addition to partnering with the End-to-End Business Process Managers for the optimization in the area of standardization, simplification, quality adherence and efficiency while role modeling the Roche Values and Operating Principles..

The Opportunity: 

  • Lead, coach, and develop cluster members by identifying training needs, building competencies, and providing coaching to achieve strategic and operational objectives.

  • Propose and execute people development initiatives to enhance team capabilities and align with organizational goals.

  • Communicate the global vision, translate strategy into actionable objectives, and foster connection between individuals and organizational purpose.

  • Ensure high-quality delivery of EMDM Ops Ledger Domain services, meeting global KPIs, SLAs, and SOPs for respective business processes.

  • Act as a proactive architect for the team, collaborating with stakeholders across clusters, regions, and globally to prevent organizational silos and anticipate needs.

  • Serve as a catalyst for continuous improvement by fostering a value-adding mindset and driving operational enhancements aligned with strategic goals.

  • Role model Roche Values and Operating Principles, while sharing best practices and learnings across clusters, products, and business lines.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor degree in Finance/ Accounting/ Commerce or equivalent. ACCA or other accounting professional qualifications will be an added advantage.

  • Minimum 7 years of working experience in related fields and minimum 5 years in Master Data Management role and audit experience.

  • Knowledge of data management, accounting principles and practices with proficiency in relevant accounting software preferably SAP.

  • Fluent English proficiency is required

  • Experience in Project Management either managing projects directly, sponsoring and/or contributing as a Product Owner using agile ways of working.

  • Ability to travel as required.

  • Proficient influencing and negotiation skills in a highly matrixed environment.

  • The ability to operate effectively across multicultural business environments.
