The primary responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to:
Hardware-Software Integration: Assist in designing, developing, and debugging software solutions that enable Intel hardware features across cloud, hybrid cloud, and on-premises deployment models.
Cloud-Native Development: Learn to build and deploy applications on AWS using Kubernetes, Docker containerization, and Node.js development
API Development: Support REST API design and implementation while learning integration best practices.
Infrastructure as Code: Gain experience with Terraform for cloud infrastructure automation and deployment.
Performance Optimization: Contribute to analyzing and optimizing software stacks including drivers, middleware, SDKs, and applications.
DevOps Practices: Work with GitHub workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized application deployment.
Research a Development: Support projects in data services, AI/ML workloads, and open-source development initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.
Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Junior, Senior, or Graduate student with strong academic performance.
Coursework or project experience in one or more: C, Java, Go, Rust, Python, Node.js, or scripting languages (bash).
Basic familiarity with Linux-based systems.
Academic or personal project experience with cloud principles and architecture.
Some exposure to software development practices through coursework, personal projects, or previous internships.
Strong English communication skills (verbal and written).
Must have unrestricted - permanent right to work in Mexico.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Personal or academic projects involving:
AWS services or other cloud platforms.
Kubernetes or Docker containerization.
REST API development.
Terraform or infrastructure automation.
Contributions to open-source projects or active GitHub portfolio.
Coursework or projects in:
Machine learning and AI/ML.
Distributed systems.
High-performance computing.
Web development and networking.
Exposure to performance analysis or benchmarking tools.
