We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer II, Oracle EPM  to design, develop, and support Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) solutions in a fast-paced Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) organization. This role is hands-on, responsible for the full lifecycle of EPM applications — Financial Consolidation & Close (FCCS), Account Reconciliation (ARCS), Tax Reporting (TRCS), Planning (EPBCS) and Enterprise Data Management (EDMCS) — with a strong focus on automation, integrations, and production stability.

 

The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with solid finance process knowledge and thrives in a collaborative, high-growth environment.

 

What you can expect to do in this role:

  • Build and maintain EPM artifacts: metadata, hierarchies, data forms, rules, calculation scripts, dashboards, and workflows.
  • Recommend optimizations for performance, automation, and operational excellence.
  • Design, create, improve and maintain Oracle EPM cloud applications including EPBCS modules, EDMCS, FCCS, ARCS, and TRCS while applying the necessary best practices and logic
  • Automate processes using Groovy scripts, EPM Automate, REST APIs, and Python/SQL for metadata and data loads.
  • Configure security and workflow models for auditability and compliance.
  • Monitor and maintain EPM environments, ensuring high availability and adherence to SLAs.
  • Diagnose and resolve application, data, and integration issues in collaboration with finance and IT teams.
  • Manage upgrades, patches, and regression testing to maintain platform stability.
  • Partner with Finance, Tax, Accounting, and Data Engineering teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
  • Advise business stakeholders on best practices for process automation, data governance, and solution adoption.
  • Coordinate with Oracle support and vendors to troubleshoot and implement enhancements

 

What we are looking for:

 

Required skills and experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on system development as a developer role in any two Oracle EPM cloud products, including EPBCS Modules, FCCS, ARCS, EDMCS, and TRCS.
  • Proven expertise in scripting and automation (Groovy, REST APIs, EPM Automate, SQL, Python).

 

Preferred skills and experience:

  • Experience supporting business-critical SaaS platforms with 24x7 production responsibilities 
  • Strong knowledge of financial close, reconciliations, tax provisioning, planning/budgeting, and metadata management 
  • Skilled in performance tuning, upgrading, testing, server maintenance, back-up planning, security administration and migration
  • Experience with data integration technologies (ODI, FDMEE, Informatica, or similar).
  • Experience working in a global organization, supporting multiple regions
  • Disciplined process orientation, attention to details, troubleshooting skills, and root cause analysis expertise
  • Ability to think critically and strategically and to collaborate effectively with staff at all levels
  • Adaptable to shifting priorities in a dynamic SaaS business.
  • Ability to proactively solve problems and work independently.
  • Skilled at effectively resolving conflict.
