ABOUT THE ROLE

Role type: This is a Temp, W2, Full-Time, Salaried position (6 months)

Location: Remote in the U.S.

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Clinical Sourcer to join our Talent Acquisition team. In this role, you'll be the engine behind our clinical hiring efforts, focusing on identifying and engaging licensed therapists (LCSWs, LPCs, LMFTs) and medical professionals (Nurse Practitioners, MDs, DOs) in states across the country. As a key member of our growing team, you'll partner closely with 2-3 clinical recruiters to build robust talent pipelines that enable Cartwheel to deliver life-changing mental health support to students nationwide. Reporting to Cartwheel's Director of Talent Acquisition, the ideal candidate will be a creative, high-volume sourcing expert who leverages innovation and AI to work smarter, not just harder.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Execute high-volume, multi-channel sourcing campaigns with a target of 400+ personalized outreach messages per week to clinical professionals including therapists (LCSWs, LPCs, LMFTs) and medical providers (NPs, MDs, DOs).
  • Partner with 2-3 clinical recruiters to understand their hiring needs and build strong, qualified talent pipelines across multiple states.
  • Develop and implement a creative, multi-state sourcing strategy that identifies both active and passive candidates through job boards, social media, professional networks, licensing databases, and other innovative channels.
  • Leverage AI tools and emerging technologies to automate processes, enhance candidate engagement, and drive down cost-per-hire while maintaining a personalized candidate experience.
  • Research and identify new and untapped talent pools, staying ahead of market trends and competitive intelligence in clinical recruitment.
  • Track and analyze sourcing metrics to continuously optimize outreach effectiveness, response rates, and pipeline quality.
  • Ensure all candidates have a positive first impression of Cartwheel through thoughtful, engaging, and timely communication.
  • Contribute creative ideas and process improvements to enhance sourcing efficiency and team performance.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in high-volume sourcing, preferably with exposure to healthcare, clinical, or licensed professional recruitment.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute high-volume outreach (300+ messages per week) while maintaining quality and personalization.
  • Skilled at using Boolean searches, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing tools to identify hard-to-find talent.
  • Comfortable with technology and eager to experiment with AI tools, automation, and innovative sourcing strategies.
  • Highly organized and metrics-driven with the ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to craft compelling, personalized outreach messages that resonate with clinical professionals.
  • Self-starter with a creative mindset and a passion for finding unconventional solutions to sourcing challenges.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and sourcing tools. Cartwheel uses Greenhouse as our ATS, and Gem as our sourcing and reporting platform.
