  • LOCATION(S): Old Broad Street, London.
  • HOURS: Full-time – 35 hours a week. 
  • WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.

About this Opportunity

As an analyst in the Open Account Relationship Management team within Transaction Banking solutions, you’ll be a support to the management and growth of our existing relationships across our open account product suite, including Supply Chain Finance (SCF), Receivables Purchase (RP), and Invoice Finance solutions.

As part of the team, you’ll play an important role in supporting programme growth, supplier engagement, and helping to deliver an exceptional client experience for a diverse portfolio of corporate clients.

This role will be important to drive revenue growth and strengthen client relationships. You'll be engaging directly with our clients and building your knowledge of client needs and solutions.

Core Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management
    • Deliver an outstanding experience, responding to customer’s needs, having quality conversations
    • Assist in preparing materials and presentations for client meetings.
    • Help with onboarding new suppliers and clients, including organising documentation and scheduling calls.
    • Participate in regular meetings with clients to review programme performance, identify growth opportunities, and ensure satisfaction.
    • Support clients with materials, training, and supplier onboarding, including joining supplier meetings to drive uptake and engagement.
  • Programme Growth & Support
    • Support ad-hoc projects and business requests with timely, accurate, and insightful analysis
    • Use data to find opportunities and recommend actions that drive commercial success
    • Maintain accurate records of client activity and programme data.
    • Support the monitoring of facility usage and overdue items, flagging issues to the team.
    • Help gather and organise management information (MI) for reporting.
    • Engage with relevant teams to ensure a smooth handover of newly onboarded programmes and clients.
  • Operational excellence
    • Provide regular updates to Product, Sales, Coverage, and Credit colleagues, including participating in quarterly reviews.
    • Gather and relay client feedback to the Trade Product team to inform product enhancements and development.
    • Collate and analyse client feedback to help support continuous improvement.

What you’ll need

  • A client-centric approach with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
  • A good understanding of data analysis,
  • Ability to quickly learn and understand platform functionality and digital tools.
  • Good communication skills, able to convey information simply and adjust messaging for diverse audiences (from large buyers to small suppliers).
  • An appreciation of partner management and how to collaborate effectively across multiple teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially for preparing presentations and reports.(Excel and Power Point)

And any experience of these would be really useful

  • An understanding of open account products, particularly Supply Chain Finance (SCF), Receivables Purchase (RP), and Invoice Finance (IF).
  • Understanding of market developments and regulatory landscape in transaction banking.
