Client Implementation Product Manager, Vice President

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to oversee the implementation and integration of clients onto our Transfer Agency platform. This role requires a strong Transfer Agency Product lens to identify, document, assess client requirements vs target operating model, complete gap analysis as required, and help design and implement solutions ensuring seamless integration and optimal client experience. The ideal candidate will have an ownership mindset and serve as the Product point of contact for client implementation initiatives onto a state-of-the-art Transfer Agency platform. The role requires close collaboration with stakeholders in the Product, Technology, and Operations teams as well as clients and external 3rd parties to drive successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Client Implementation Oversight:

  • Serve as the Transfer Agency Product lead for implementation of new clients, managing timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications.
  • Adhere to governance standards as set out by the Project PMO.
  • Prepare materials and executive summaries as necessary to provide status updates to the project steering Committee.
  • Maintain project budget transparency and escalate items that could impact the Product budget in a timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain detailed onboarding project plans and documentation.

Product Gap Analysis & Resolution:

  • Proactive identification, management and mitigation of project risks and issues.
  • Facilitate client workshops to support successful migration of the client.
  • Apply a product-focused perspective, proactively identifying gaps between client requirements and current platform capabilities.
  • Document and prioritize technology and operating model gaps, working closely with Product, Operations, and Technology to propose and track enhancements or workarounds.
  • Maintain accurate records of onboarding processes, decisions, and product gap analyses.
  • Facilitate resolution of complex issues and escalate as necessary to ensure timely onboarding.
  • Act as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams (Product, Technology, Operations, Compliance) during the onboarding process.
  • Ensure all stakeholders are informed of project status, risks, and mitigation plans.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 8 to 10 years of management/supervisory/project management experience in financial services, ideally within a Product function or with an Transfer Agency or IT background.
  • Experience with implementation of digital technologies or workflow management tools
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity in complex implementation scenarios.
  • Experience managing diverse project teams and working groups.
  • Solid understanding of Transfer Agency operations and technology platforms.
  • Ability to articulate and document Operating Model vision and technology to senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
