Busy Bees at Armstrong Creek is a modern, purpose-built centre with 126 licensed places, located in the growing Armstrong Creek community. We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Chef who is passionate about preparing nutritious meals for children and contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment.

About the Role
In this role, you will:
Prepare and cook nutritious, age-appropriate meals that meet dietary and allergy requirements
Plan weekly menus aligned with Busy Bees nutrition guidelines
Maintain excellent food safety and hygiene practices
Ensure the kitchen is clean, organised, and compliant with regulatory standards
Manage stock levels and place food orders as needed
Build warm, professional relationships with children, families, and educators
Bring creativity, efficiency, and a commitment to high-quality nutrition
Demonstrate experience working in a childcare environment
What You’ll Need
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Certificate in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
Valid VIC Working with Children Check (Employee)
Food Safety / Food Handling Certification
Understanding of nutrition, dietary needs, allergies, and menu planning
Strong organisation, time management, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
