This role requires a CDL-Class A license with relevant endorsements and a commitment to adhering to safety regulations and procedures.

Job Responsibilities:
Support and Promote Safety Standards: Uphold and promote the local implementation of the Safety and Security Quality Management System (SSQMS) by strictly following all relevant policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
Cargo Transportation: Transport cargo using a 53' trailer between various types of aircraft and the warehouse or between warehouses. This task must be carried out while adhering to strict safety regulations and maintaining the integrity of the cargo.
Customer Service: Maintain a customer service-oriented approach when interacting with airline representatives and staff. Provide courteous and professional service while handling cargo operations.
Other duties as assigned: Be flexible and willing to perform any other tasks or responsibilities as required by the company to meet operational needs.
Be prepared to take on other duties as assigned by the company, which could vary depending on operational needs.

Fully understand AGI Health & Safety and Security policies.
Attend training courses as may be required by AGI.
Qualifications:
Hold a CDL-Class A license with manual transmission experience and a hazmat endorsement, which is required for handling hazardous materials.
Ability to operate a tractor-trailer (53' trailer) on a daily basis to handle the airport's workload efficiently.
Minimum age of 18 and possession of a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
The ability to obtain airport security clearance, which includes a comprehensive 10-year employment, criminal record, and residence background check.
If work location is in the United States, must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986. If work location is in Canada, must have authorization to work in Canada as defined by the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) of 2001.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift X pounds (X kg) on a regular basis.
Carry heavy items up and down jetway stairs.
Climb, bend, kneel, crawl and stoop on a frequent basis and for extended periods.
Work outside in all types of weather, around jet and machinery noises.
Schedule:
Alliance Ground International operates twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. AGI requires its employees to be able to work flexible schedules which may be adjusted to meet operational demands such as flight delays or cancellations. Applicants must be able to work on weekends, (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) and holidays. Strict adherence to company attendance policies is expected and enforced.
