Job Description:
Cardiothoracic Surgery RN Circulator
Full Time - M, T, Th, F - 0600 - 1430
Call Requirements are 1 in 3 and every 3rd weekend.
Prescribes, delegates, and coordinates nursing care of patients; participates in patient and family teaching; and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary, nursing, and other patient-team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.
Job Duties:
- Assessment and identification of all patient needs and utilizes EMR for passing of medications, and all care provided to patient.
- Implementation of appropriate interventions considering the needs of patient populations per department scope of service.
- Establish and maintain a plan for the delivery of nursing care.
- Assure that nursing care interventions and activities are directed to resolve problems.
- Delegation of nursing care activities and follow physician orders related to all aspects of patient care.
Requirements:
- Associate degree
- Current RN Licensure recognized by the Kentucky State Board of Nursing is required.
