JOB SUMMARY
The Cardiology Tech, Non-Invasive is responsible for obtaining accurate and reliable EKGs and arrhythmia testing for physician interpretation. The individual is responsible for identifying advanced and complex waveforms and rhythms and reacting appropriately. The Cardiology Tech, Non-Invasive needs to understand the work flow of the specialized area, be acquainted with the protocols, have advanced interpretative skills and understand the software and mechanics of the system. The individual will assist the manager in maintaining and updating testing equipment and is responsible for training and measuring the technical and interpretive skill level of junior staff. The Cardiology Tech, Non-Invasive performs in a manner consistent with Marshfield Clinic Health Systems’ mission, policies and initiatives while maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.

Preferred/Optional: Completion of a technical program in a medical field.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum Required: None
Preferred/Optional: Experience performing EKGs.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.
Minimum Required:
Preferred/Optional: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) at time of hire.
