In this role, you will:
Participate in research and resolution of issues including, profit and loss generation, profit and loss attribution and trade capture
Identify opportunities to resolve complex confirmation and related trade issues
Review tactical business challenges related to complex derivative products
Receive direction from manager and exercise independent judgement while developing an understanding of procedures
Provide information to managers and the Capital Markets Middle Office
The role will focus primarily on daily trading profit/loss reporting, analysis and attribution, risk reporting, curve construction, and regulatory reporting of aforementioned figures
Support the primary products such as swaps, futures, options, structured products, and fixed income securities
Contribution in the development of processes and procedures to support a growing business
Improve the existing infrastructure through system testing and effective project management
Assist trading with minimizing costs and identifying concerns that can be expected
A successful candidate will need to collaborate with partners that support the business in various capacities including trading, sales, technology, compliance, risk, operations, legal, and audit
Provide superior service while responding to inquiries from both internal and external customers as per the standards defined by Wells Fargo
Required Qualifications:
6+ months of Capital Markets industry experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
BS/BA degree
Calypso experience
Strong candidates will possess superior ability to organize verbal and written communication to clarify purpose and importance, stress major points and follow a logical sequence
Demonstrate aptitude to identify and understand issues, problems, and opportunities; comparing data from different sources to draw conclusions; using effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions and taking action that is consistent with available facts, constraints, and probable consequences
Analytical; proficient with numbers, mathematical and business concepts, meticulous regarding all details and capable of developing conclusions from data in spreadsheets or reports
