CAMPUS: ESG Summer Associate - Europe (2026)

As an ESG Summer Associate based in our London office, you will play an active role within the global ESG team. You will have the opportunity to interact with various teams within and outside of ESG, utilizing both the technical and interpersonal skills you are continuing to develop through your education. You will make meaningful contributions as a member of the team. 

Capital Group is deepening the integration of ESG into our fundamental research. Our ambition is to be known for the quality and thoughtfulness of our ESG research, products and processes, and for their contribution to delivering superior investment results, enhancing Capital Group’s reputation with our clients.

  • You will work on a research assignment that will add value to our work. Research may be thematic (e.g. on environmental, social or governance-related issues), company-specific (assessment of ESG practices and impacts of products and services) or in support of some of our industry, client and product initiatives.
  • You will support team priorities which could include building and maintaining ESG research frameworks, company engagements, or supporting external stakeholder needs and undertaking data analysis.
  • You will have an opportunity to learn about the role ESG plays in investment decision-making and in meeting our clients’ needs through practical experience and contributing to the outputs of this busy team.

  • You’re currently in your penultimate year pursuing an undergraduate degree with an anticipated graduation Summer 2027
  • You are expected to graduate with upper second-class honours or above
  • You have an interest in pursuing a career in the ESG space

  • You are a continuous learner, with a hunger for knowledge
  • You are highly collaborative

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
