Job Description

This role is responsible for co creating, ideating, and executing a customer communication, engagement & correspondence strategy (Operational communications, Business as usual communications, Legal correspondences, Sales, Retention, Cross sell & Upsell campaigns). The incumbent is individually accountable for achieving results through own efforts, over periods of up to a year.

This role manages & executes customer communication, engagement & correspondence strategy deliveries designed to grow market share and achieve business objectives. Implements a clear communication strategy and plan, in line with Personal Finance objectives.

Key responsibilities will include amongst others the following:

Customer Communication

  • Gives communication & campaign support within the Personal Finance Communications team.
  • Conceptualise, formulate / write, edit, proofread communication for advisers and customers.
  • Distribute and execute PF customer and adviser communication.
  • Tracks effectiveness of communication and implement necessary changes.
     
  • Developing content aligned to the PF Customer Communications strategy and facilitating implementation

Materials Design & Production

  • Where responsible for communication platforms / publications – manages the end-to-end process of conceptualising; aligning / developing theme, briefing - writers, design, digital, proof-readers; editing & distribution.

  • Defines performance parameters (including balanced scorecard) and measurements for area under supervision.
  • Drives operational excellence through area of supervision.
  • Focus on development to sustain pipeline and creating future capability.
  • Creates a climate for optimal performance.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED FOR THE JOB)

  • Matric
  • Communications / relevant business degree
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in a Financial Services company in Campaign/Correspondence/Engagement/Communications & content writing.
  • HTML coding experience

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE (PREFERRED, NOT A REQUIREMENT)

  • Experience in working in the Agile methodology.
  • Agile certification/training preferred.
