Job Description:
This position is responsible for measuring cabinets, vanities and other structures for the purpose of installing Cambria Surfaces.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Measure cabinets, vanities and other structures to prepare for installation of Cambria Surfaces
Estimate and create customer quotes
Complete follow-up calls with potential customers
Interact with homeowners and contractors
Enter measurements into AutoCAD
Coordinate daily schedule
Train and mentor new hires in the CAD Technician position
Understand work site conditions for safety
Assist with installation of Cambria Surfaces as needed
Perform additional duties as requested by management
Qualifications & Skills:
Knowledge of the construction industry preferred
Excellent math skills (geometry)
Estimating skills
Architectural drafting skills
Ability to understand architectural blue prints
Excellent interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills
Superior organizational skills, as well as the ability to maintain focus under pressure
Strong time management skills
Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal & external parties
Ability to adhere to a rigid daily schedule
Ability to work extended hours as needed (late evenings, weekends)
Must possess a valid driver’s license from the state of residence
Must be able to successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check in accordance with Cambria's standards
Minimum Requirements:
Education: High School Diploma required. Post-secondary education in estimating and architectural drafting preferred
Experience: Experience in kitchen and bath design, layout, quoting, and/or sales is preferred
Systems: Proficiency with Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD

Physical Requirements: Must be able to work in a variety of environments, including new construction sites, homes, commercial buildings and office environments
Travel Requirements: This position will require daily travel to job sites in a company vehicle
Cambria’s starting hourly range for this position is $24.00 - $29.00. Hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position. Individual pay is determined by several factors, including work location, job-related experience, and relevant education and/or training.
