Job Description:

• Create and process purchase orders in accordance with Ferrovial Construction Procurement Procedures, based on requisitions from Site Operations Teams.
• Source materials and equipment, balancing quality, service, risk, and cost considerations.
• Conduct meetings with potential and existing suppliers to foster strong relationships and ensure compliance with site-specific requirements.
• Liaise with the wider Project Team on all procurement matters, providing updates on lead times and potential supply risks.
• Attend internal project meetings to report on procurement progress.
• Utilize ERP systems and tools for procurement processes and reporting.
• Promote sustainability in line with Ferrovial’s Sustainability Process.
• Support the Procurement Manager in monitoring supply chain performance and identifying issues.
• Maintain accurate records of supplier quotations, negotiations, orders, and correspondence.
• Perform additional duties as required to assist the Procurement and Commercial teams.

• Knowledge & Skills

• Experience in construction procurement.
• Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
• Ability to multitask and solve problems in a structured manner.
• Capable of working autonomously in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Comfortable learning and adapting to new software and systems.
