Job Description Summary

The business workstream lead LDC (Lean Digital Core) /GMT is responsible for the overall project management of the implementation of the LDC and GMT system in Puurs from the business perspective. This is a temporary contract of +/- 2.5 years, ending in March 2028.

The scope of this project consists of 3 phases :
- phase 1 : integration of warehouse/QA activities from Poema C/Poms to the current SAP-PEP
- phase 2 : implementation of GMT as the production MES, replacing POMS/Poema C
- phase 3 : replacement of current SAP-PEP by S/4-Hanna (=LDC)

The business workstream lead manages the project team, consisting of experts out of the involved business departments such as manufacturing, quality, data migration/cleansing, warehouse and MBR design.


 

Job Description

Major accountabilities:

The business workstream lead manages the project team, consisting of experts out of the involved business departments such as manufacturing, quality, data migration/cleansing, warehouse and MBR design.
You will be responsible for 
- defining the project timelines/scope, tracking of the status according to the plan
- budget setting and tracking
- building up the organization from the business side , and managing this team (up to 25 internal & external employees)
- overall reporting of the status of this project (including escalation) to all involved stakeholders (local, SLT, global, IT/OT)
- collaborating closely with the IT/OT team 
- driving the teams through this transformative journey to come to an end state where we want to improve the performance (by digitalisation/vertical integration), productivity, quality in order to ensure the site competiveness. 
- coordination of all activities  in a way that is consistent with a culture of self-direction (empowerment and accountability). 
- ensuring full compliance with quality, Health, Safety and Environment (HSE), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), customer service, statutory, regulatory and Novartis requirements.
- Providing technical expertise in support of solving issues 

Experience / Skills required

Work Experience: 

+8 years of relevant experience in business processes

Roll out of an MES system or SAP

  • Manufacturing Process, Operations (including QA, warehouses).
  • Project Management
