Business Systems Analyst II

The Business Systems Analyst II will be part of the Trading Organization, providing project and production tool and process support to the Advisory Trading team. This individual will be responsible for providing subject matter expertise, identifying business requirements, creating project and process specifications, testing for new or enhanced systems, and assisting with production implementations, while supporting projects under the direction of the leader or project manager. In addition, the role will provide day-to-day support for the production processing team by assisting with trade event support, workflow development and process improvements, controls and audits, and issue triage and resolution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent business and provide expertise on project initiatives; identify business requirements, assess design and process specifications, create accurate documentation, drive progress against project plan, and provide timely updates across our organization through the life of the project.

  • Acts as liaison for team between other business units, technology, and external vendors. Establishes and maintains effective working relationships across our organization or with external firms and vendors.

  • Will lead/facilitate problem solving and troubleshooting of issues to help advance project scope or to address production issues.

  • Provide day-to-day support for production team through data analysis, oversight of systems/workflows, and coaching/guidance on processes and tools.

  • Identify and implement process improvements for the business unit by recommending changes to policies, procedures and business model with guidance from leader.

  • Monitor and assess potential business-driven or regulatory changes impacting the team; assist leader with setting strategy, defining priority, and implementing change using appropriate change controls.



Required Qualifications

  • Associates degree or 3+ years of equivalent experience

  • Strong understanding of the financial services industry

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

  • Ability to learn, understand and apply technology as it relates to the business. 

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple work assignments while being able to shift priorities

  • Strong work ethic, high standards for accuracy and high level of personal accountability



Preferred Qualifications

  • Industry experience with advisory programs and/or model-based trading

  • System experience with InvestCloud trading applications and/or BetaNXT

  • Proficient in data analysis leveraging tools such as Excel, Power BI, and Denodo

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Ability to present and facilitate decision making to drive outcomes

Base Pay Salary

The estimated base salary for this role is $65,400-$88,200/year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
