POSITION SPECIFICS
The Business Systems Analyst (Advanced Professional) for Undergraduate Admissions in Enrollment Management plays a critical role in supporting and enhancing the PSU Undergraduate Admissions infrastructure. This position is responsible for managing the Common Application lifecycle, stewarding admissions data access, maintaining decision letter processes in LionPATH (Oracle PeopleSoft Campus Solutions), and serving as a liaison for special projects across admissions and affiliated units.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Common Application Management
Lead the year-round administration of the Common Application, including annual cycle rollover, updates, and issue resolution.
Collaborate with University stakeholders and technical teams to manage application content, logic, and system integrations.
Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and monitoring to ensure accurate and efficient application processing.
Admissions Data Stewardship
Serve as the data steward for Undergraduate Admissions, managing access requests and ensuring data governance compliance.
Partner with information security and data management teams to maintain appropriate system access and data integrity.
Compile, analyze, and report data to support admissions operations and strategic decision-making.
Decision Letters and Batch Processing
Maintain and update decision letter templates and oversee batch processing of admissions decisions in LionPATH.
Conduct testing and validation to ensure data accuracy and system stability during each admissions cycle.
Special Projects and Collaboration
Act as a liaison for cross-unit initiatives, coordinating requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
Submit and prioritize technical requests, track project progress, and lead process improvement efforts.
Develop and deliver training materials, demonstrations, and documentation to promote consistent use of systems and tools.
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of system configuration, process analysis, and data management practices.
Experience with student information systems (e.g. PeopleSoft Campus Solutions or other enterprise-level enrollment management systems), Common App administration, and BI Publisher preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate across diverse teams
MINIMUM EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree 3+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted Required Certifications: None

SALARY & BENEFITS
The salary range for this position, including all possible grades, is $61,800.00 - $89,600.00.
