AGENCY SUMMARY
The Service Oklahoma (SOK) mission is to ease the stress in navigating government services by providing a best-in-class customer experience. We are Oklahomans helping Oklahomans by providing driver license and motor vehicle services on behalf of the state.
This position has an annual rate of $60,000.00.
The Service Oklahoma offers a generous benefits package, including a benefits allowance to off-set the costs of medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance plans.  The Service Oklahoma will match up to 7% towards an employee’s Defined Contribution retirement plan.  Our employees receive 11 paid holidays, 15 days of paid annual leave, which increases with every 5 years of service, and 15 days of paid sick leave.  Additionally, employees will receive longevity payments based on their years of service with the State of Oklahoma.  
Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
The Business Support Supervisor is assigned duties and responsibilities involving the supervision and front-line leadership of a team of Business Support Specialists and Lead. 
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
This job description describes the general nature and level of work performed by the employee assigned to this position. It should not be construed as an exhaustive list of all required duties, responsibilities and skills.
- Prepares and processes various documents requiring knowledge of assigned department’s programs and projects to also include daily operations.
 - Explains, interprets, and applies federal, state, and local laws, rules, regulations, codes, ordinances, and SOK policies and procedures to assigned team members.
 - Analyzes and reports performance data to identify gaps and recommend operational improvements.
 - Responsible for the supervision of staff, quality of work product, and deliverables.
 - Serves as the point of contact for assigned section while utilizing department-specific programs and devices.
 
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
- Knowledge of office methods and procedures.
 - Demonstrate the ability to analyze a problem for root causes and develop effective solutions to serve both customer and internal team member’s needs.
 - Ability to prepare and interpret charts and graphs.
 - Possess standard business communication etiquette.
 - Skilled in current office technologies; proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint; telephone procedures.
 - Quickly learn new systems of organization and technology
 - View a situation from the customer’s perspective and make decisions where the outcome will produce acceptable results for both the customer and the agency
 - Prepare documents, reports, and files for dissemination to external sources
 - Apply logic and reasoning to evaluate alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
 
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
The preferred minimum qualifications for this position are:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in any field
 - OR four (4) years of experience in a clerical office or a closely related field,
 - OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
 
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
- The schedule for this position may require flexibility, including some weekends and overtime, based on the needs of the agency.

 - This position works in a comfortable office setting with a computer for a large percentage of the workday.
