What You Will Do: 

  • Provide day-to-day incident and problem management support for Operations, Asset Management, and Integrity applications, including Core, CartoPac, OnBase, and others as required. Provide functional support to assigned Operations stakeholders and departments. 

  • Collaborate with TIS and business partners to deliver projects and improvements to Operations applications. 

  • Establish and maintain strategic relationships throughout the organization to provide end-to-end process and application support to collaborators. 

  • Provide on-call overnight support for WAMS/Operations applications to secure timely distribution of urgent work. 

  • Guide and instruct end users to support comprehensive systems processes. 

  • Visit Operations depots to provide in-person support and foster connections with stakeholders. 

  • Support TIS Operations projects through build input, testing, and post-implementation support. 

  • Conduct root cause analysis and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to identify and assess impacts or risks to business outcomes. 

Who You Are: 

  • Related university degree and minimum of six or more years of directly related experience OR equivalent combination of formal education, certification and experience. 

  • Excellent communication, issue/problem resolution, presentation and analytical skills 

  • Ability to establish and maintain stakeholder relationships. 

  • In depth experience with Operations, TIS and/or Technical training within GDS is preferred  

  • Proven experience in providing IT support and managing incidents and problems in a large-scale environment. 

  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively alongside internal and external customers, related functions, contractors, and alliance partnerships. 

  • Proven capacity to guide and instruct end users, guaranteeing the effective adoption of new processes and applications.

Physical Requirements:

Include but not limited to: Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
