Business Intelligence Senior Analyst

Position Summary
As a key member of the Business Intelligence team within Coram Finance Revenue Cycle, you will design, build, and deploy intelligent solutions that drive automation, analytics, and operational excellence across the organization. This position focuses on transforming manual processes into streamlined digital workflows, developing AI-powered tools, and integrating advanced reporting and visualization capabilities. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities, deliver impactful technology solutions, and support continuous improvement in Finance, Revenue Cycle, and Operations. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with a passion for problem-solving, innovation, and cross-functional teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate process pain points into technical requirements.

  • Design and deploy automated workflows to eliminate manual tasks

  • Build end-to-end tools: search interfaces, workflow apps, dashboards, reporting, and more.

  • Develop AI components: intelligent document processing (OCR/NLP), Gen-AI chatbots, and ML assistants.

  • Create dashboards and reports to visualize impact and track performance.

  • Write scripts and small programs to integrate systems, automate data flows, and support analytics.

  • Contribute to both quick-win projects and larger strategic initiatives.

  • Own solution lifecycle: requirements, architecture, ALM, testing/UAT, production readiness, monitoring, and continuous improvement.



Required Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of related business experience
  • AI Development: Experience with OCR/ICR, NLP, ML models, Gen‑AI chatbots (e.g., Azure Cognitive Services/Document Intelligence, OpenAI APIs).
  • Cloud Experience: Azure, Azure Functions, Fabric, Service Bus/Queues, Logic Apps, Data Factory, Blob Storage or related.
  • SharePoint: Development, document libraries, lists, intranet tools, UI/UX design
  • BI Fundamentals: SQL, ETL, DAX, or M and/or data warehouse concepts.
  • Workflow Design: Experience mapping business processes and implementing automation.
  • Database & Integration: Python, REST APIs, relational databases, CSV/JSON/XML handling or any combination

Microsoft Power Platform (any combination of):

  • Power Apps: Proven experience with Canvas Apps and Model‑Driven Apps (Dataverse) and UI/UX design.
  • Dataverse & Extensibility: PCF controls, plugins (C#), virtual tables, auditing.
  • Power Automate (cloud and desktop),
  • Power BI: Data Visualization & Storytelling for building actionable dashboards
  • Copilot Studio (bot orchestration, grounding, agents)
  • AI Builder (prompts, forms processing, document classification).
  • ALM practices for solutioning, environment strategy, and governance.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft 365 Ecosystem Development: OneDrive, Dataverse integrations. SharePoint SPFx: custom webparts
  • Teams Custom App Development: Build, package, and deploy Teams apps (tabs/bots/message extensions) with Graph API integration and Entra ID SSO.
  • RPA Tools: Power Automate Desktop, UIPath, Automation Anywhere, Logic Apps, Zapier.
  • Search & RAG: Azure AI Search, embeddings/vector stores, content chunking, prompt orchestration for enterprise copilots.
  • Exposure to Systems: Dataiku/Alteryx, Epic, Salesforce, Rally, Jira and ePremis workflows
  • Healthcare RCM & EDI: Working knowledge of HIPAA X12 (esp. 835 ERA), payer crossover logic, and billing/collections/cash‑posting processes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Domain Awareness: Understanding of finance, billing, claims, and compliance workflows.
  • Security & Compliance Awareness: HIPAA, SOX, PCI considerations in workflow design.
  • UX Sensibility: Intuitive form and interface design for user adoption.
  • Agile Practices: User stories, sprints, demos, backlog grooming.
  • Soft Skills: Curiosity, empathy, adaptability, coaching ability, and a bias toward action. 



Education

  • Verifiable High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$46,988.00 - $102,000.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
