ABOUT THE ROLE

The Professor of Business and Entrepreneurship will lead and shape our Business Programs at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels across our campuses. This role is pivotal in ensuring our programs remain globally relevant, academically rigorous, and deeply entrepreneurial. The Professor will ensure that we deliver world-class curricula (working closely with the Product Team), guide research, and mentor students, with the ultimate goal of enabling them to move from concepts to ventures that attract funding and create measurable impact.

In addition to academic leadership, this role will serve as a strategic driver of the institution’s mission to develop ethical entrepreneurs by integrating entrepreneurial practice into teaching, forging strong partnerships with external stakeholders, and ensuring that our programs stay at the cutting edge of business education.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the delivery, and continuous improvement of undergraduate and postgraduate business programs to ensure domain relevance and global competitiveness.
  • Drive the institution’s mandate of creating 3 million ethical entrepreneurs by embedding entrepreneurship practice and venture creation at the core of teaching and learning.
  • Serve as a senior faculty member, delivering high-impact postgraduate and business courses aligned with industry trends and institutional priorities.
  • Mentor and supervise students and faculty in areas of business, innovation, and entrepreneurship, supporting the development of real ventures and startups.
  • Cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships with industry leaders, investors, incubators, and accelerators to provide students with funding opportunities, networks, and applied learning.
  • Conduct and publish high-quality research in business and entrepreneurship that contributes to both academic thought leadership and practical entrepreneurial ecosystems.
  • Provide academic leadership and faculty development within the business programs, ensuring teaching excellence and a student-centered learning culture.
  • Represent the institution in global forums, conferences, and networks to enhance its reputation in entrepreneurship education.
  • Champion the values of ethics, inclusivity, and social responsibility in business education and practice.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • 10+ years of academic and/or industry experience in business, management, or entrepreneurship, with a strong track record of teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
  • Proven experience in building or scaling entrepreneurial ventures, or in actively supporting entrepreneurs through incubation, acceleration, or investment platforms.
  • Demonstrated success in curriculum development and academic leadership within a business or entrepreneurship program.
  • Evidence of published research in business, management, or entrepreneurship in reputable academic journals and/or influential thought leadership contributions.
  • Experience working in or with diverse, global, and multicultural settings, ideally in emerging markets.
  • Track record of partnership development with industry, investors, and external stakeholders.
