About the role:
iCapital is seeking an intern to join the Wealth Managers team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the Wealth Management industry, specifically focusing on Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs). This individual will play a crucial role in supporting the development of new client relationships, maintaining existing connections, and providing valuable assistance to the internal Enterprise Solutions department.
Client Relationship Development:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of relationships with RIAs, aggregators, and independent wealth platforms; support team as needed, providing feedback for continuous improvement.
Technology Solutions Support:
- Actively participate in platform and system demonstrations for prospective clients.
- Contribute to the preparation of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), ensuring accuracy.
Collaboration and Business Development:
- Collaborate closely with Relationship Managers, Sales teams, and Executives to understand market trends and contribute insights to the development of sales strategies.
- Assist in the identification of business development opportunities.
Project Management:
- Contribute to the development and improvement of frameworks and processes for effective team management, fostering a culture of efficiency and collaboration.
Valued qualities and key skills:
- Highly inquisitive, collaborative, and a creative problem solver
- Possess foundational knowledge of and/or genuine interest in the financial markets
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Able to adapt to new responsibilities and manage competing priorities
- Technologically proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

Eligibility:
- A rising junior or senior in a U.S. college/university bachelor’s degree program
- Committed to working five days a week in the New York City office for the entire duration of the internship
- Authorized to work in the United States*

Pay Rate: $42.00/hour + relocation stipend and transportation stipend
