Business Controller, Europe & APAC
OUR ROLE
At Fiskars Group, we create meaningful experiences through our iconic brands, including Fiskars, Iittala, and Royal Copenhagen. We are looking for a Business Controller to join our Business Finance team for Business Area Fiskars which includes Gardening, Creative and Outdoor categories. In this role, you will be a trusted partner to our business, providing financial insights that drive strategic decisions and operational excellence.
You’ll work in a collaborative, international environment where your expertise will help shape the future of our business.
This position is based in Espoo, Finland and reports to the Senior Finance Director, Europe & APAC. The role is full-time and follows a hybrid working model (minimum 2–3 days in the office).
WHAT YOU’LL DO AT FISKARS GROUP
Responsibilities:
Act as a key business partner for Product Managers, Current Business Delivery, Media Tower, and Market Activation teams.
Support the business by planning, monitoring, and decision-making through financial analysis and insights.
Manage financial processes, including month-end closing, accruals, master data, and cost approvals.
Analyze KPIs, identify risks and opportunities, and contribute to action plans.
Execute Finance annual cycle activities within the Business Unit scope.
Collaborate across teams to deliver results and coach business teams on financial acumen.
Participate in BU or country-related finance projects and global initiatives.
WHO YOU ARE
Experience:
You bring a strong analytical mindset, commercial acumen, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving. You thrive in a fast-paced, international environment and are passionate about turning data into actionable insights.
Requirements:
Master’s degree in economics, Accounting, or equivalent.
5+ years of experience in finance and controlling roles.
Business partnering mindset. Proven skills in financial planning, reporting.
Experience in international business and multi-channel consumer goods.
Proficiency in SAP, HFM, and BI tools (Power BI, BW).
Fluent in English; Finnish is an advantage.
Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively in a matrix organization.
Willing to actively engage in hands-on tasks, demonstrating an attention to detail.
