What will you do as a Business Analyst, Strategic Finance & Risk?
As a Business Analyst, Strategic Finance & Risk, you will be the process owner for financial modelling, financial analysis, data analytics, cost management, capex spend monitoring and tracking. You will also be the process owner for assessing, monitoring, and managing risk, its impact on the business and its reporting as well as managing, tracking all leases, insurance matters and its reporting.

What do we expect from you as a Business Analyst, Strategic Finance & Risk?
Degree in Finance, Accountancy or Business or professional qualification in Accountancy
At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in finance and analytics
CA or CPA preferred
Proven strong analytical skills and conceptual capabilities
In-depth understanding of financial reporting and financial management concepts
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required for dealing with a cross functional team
Self-Driven with can do/improve attitude
Able to plan, organize, set priorities and deliver
Problem solving and process improvement abilities
ERP or system knowledge in Oracle and Tagetik (reporting software)
Expertise in IFRS and local statutory requirements are preferred
Your core responsibilities are:
Responsible for financial modelling, analysis, data analytics, cost management and monitoring capex spend
Implement and execute the business analyses projects, plans and systems, in close cooperation with the Finance Manager, in order to ensure effective and efficient data & business analytics
Develop ‘fit for purpose’ ideas, KPI’s and reporting templates to facilitate challenging senior management in enhancing the overall performance of our portfolio of terminals
Contribute to ad-hoc multi-disciplinary projects, focused on performance enhancement such as benchmarking, cost competitiveness and post investment evaluations
Execute and report on in-depth financial economic analyses of business plans and results, in line with the planning and control in order to provide a sustainable basis for management decisions
Drive data analytics and its related initiatives
Drive capex spend tracking and engagement
Other ad-hoc analysis e.g. Time writing, COVID expenses
Engage internal stakeholders and key business partners on Enterprise Risk Management (ERM)
Responsible for Tracking and reporting Insurance and Risk Management matters
Responsible land lease matters, policies changes and reporting
Responsible for IFRS 16 and relating engagements
Responsible for engaging Landowners - JTC and EDB
Engage external stakeholders that include JTC and EDB on matters relating to Grants, Incentives and other Business related matters
Main contact for Financial engagement to external stakeholders of this nature.
Maintain stakeholder relationship
Responsible to seek continuous improvement in particular to optimize the usage of data, technology, automation
