About the role
We’re looking for a Business Advisor II to join our growing team!
What you’ll do here:
Analyze and measure the effectiveness of existing operational processes and develop sustainable, reproducible and quantifiable improvements.
Identify operational needs and take part in implementing changes.
Ensure compliance with company processes, practices and procedures.
Identify new methods to track and report on various parameters and results.
Collect and analyze process data to initiate, develop and recommend business practices and procedures that focus on improvement, increased productivity and cost reductions.
Implement quality assurance and compliance processes.
Create documentation to support analysis and improvement, including business requirements, functional specifications, process maps, gap/problem analyses, etc.
Establish a change management strategy that includes supporting the development of training and change management materials and activities for the implementation of new processes and procedures.
Study, analyze, and understand business requirements in context to gain business intelligence.
Design and map data models to shift raw data into meaningful insights.
Build visually appealing interactive dashboards and scorecards in Power BI using various data sources.
Analyze learning and development metrics for the Learning & Development HR team.
Spot key performance indicators with apt objectives.
Analyze previous and present data to provide recommendations and insights, using storytelling techniques to present data effectively.
Prepare PowerPoint decks with good visuals and impactful narratives.
Develop strong data documentation about algorithms, parameters, models.
Use tools such as Workday, Power Query (Excel), SQL, and DAX Query to enhance data analysis capabilities.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) with specific objectives.
Understand and interpret the manager's requests for data to tailor appropriate solutions.
What you bring to the table:
Bachelor’s degree in a job-related discipline or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
At least two years of relevant experience.
Experience in transformation methodologies.
Ability to give presentations, great storyteller.
Strong organizational skills, innovative, independent.
Ability to adapt to different situations.
Focus on quality, attention to detail.
Persuasive contributor and team player.
Must have intermediate to advanced experience with Power BI ecosystem.
Must have advanced knowledge of power query, dax query, data modelling, data analysis.
Knowledge of SQL and experience with data analysis queries.
Prior experience in data-related tasks with a focus on storytelling and presenting data.
Strong analytical skills, curious, and the ability to ask the right questions to obtain the right information.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and present findings.
Ability to work autonomously in a resourceful, fast-paced environment with strong prioritization skills.
Autonomous, curious, self-learner.
For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
No Canadian work experience required but must have authorization to work in Canada.
