The Job

As a Biosciences Account Manager in our Benelux team, you'll sell life science technologies and solutions to our customers for their research in cell biology, protein biology, and molecular biology. Your role will directly impact our mission of making the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

This field-based sales role covers accounts in the Benelux region. You will visit customers in person 4 days per week and work from home when not traveling.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in sales, product, and systems training, marketing campaigns, and special projects to develop selling skills. You will continue to learn on the job and develop your skills further.
  • Identify sales opportunities with new and existing customers and guide the sales of Company offerings to meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Maintain and grow the customer database using Salesforce CRM.
  • Communicate successes and failures to improve the team's operational efficiency.
  • Work cross-divisionally to identify and close new sales opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in life sciences.
  • Fluency in Dutch and high proficiency in English.
  • Prior sales experience in Life Sciences or scientific research experience with a desire to work in sales.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Effective time management and flexibility in adapting to a constantly evolving business environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and AI tools.
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel within the territory 4 days per week.
