Building and Facility Maintenance Representative
Location: Jeffersonville, OH, USA - 8200 Bluegrass Blvd
Shift: Monday through Friday - 7am-3:30pm
Note: Shift subject to change based on needs of the business. Emergencies in the building may cause slight shift changes or overtime.

Job Summary:
As a Building Facilities Maintenance team member at McKesson, you will be responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the safe, efficient, and comfortable operation of our facilities. This role is crucial in maintaining a productive and well-maintained work environment for all employees.
Key Responsibilities
Executes scheduled preventative maintenance on building systems, including: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, building and lighting fixtures
Responds promptly to and resolve maintenance requests, troubleshoot issues, and perform necessary repairs
Conducts routine inspections of facilities to identify and address potential maintenance needs or safety hazards
Performs minor carpentry, painting, landscaping and general upkeep tasks as required
Assists with the setup and teardown of office furniture, equipment, and event spaces
Maintains accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and inventory of parts and supplies
Coordinates with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or projects as needed
Ensures compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during maintenance operations
Participates in emergency response efforts and after-hours call-outs as part of a rotating schedule
Promotes a clean, organized, and safe work environment for all McKesson team members
Minimum Qualifications
Typically requires 1+ years of related experience.
Additional Skills and Qualifications:
Experience in facilities, service, building maintenance or a related field. Education/knowledge and/or experience in trades and/or general repair would be ideal (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing)
Assists in preventative maintenance scheduling and vendor contracts related to facilities services
Knowledge of work orders/parts software or programs (MCC) preferred
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
Knowledge and safe usage of various types of equipment in maintenance/facility trade (hand tools, power tools, power equipment, pressure gauges, voltmeters, etc.)
Basic knowledge/exposure of LOTO and OSHA regulations
Must be willing to assist with janitorial, housekeeping, landscaping duties
Basic use of Microsoft Office products with the ability to learn, use, and troubleshoot internal software(s) as needed
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Demands (some or all may apply):
Must be comfortable working at heights. climbing
Must be comfortable working in refrigerated areas
May work in semi-confined spaces - bending, crouching
May sit, stand, stoop, bend and walk intermittently during the day.
May sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day.
May be necessary to work extended hours as needed.
Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required.
May need to lift up to fifty (50) pounds on occasion and great weights in a team lift.
Must be able to work in all weather conditions
Visual acuity to see and read fine prints. Specific vision abilities required by this role include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
Must be able to hear normal voice sounds.
