What You’ll Do:
The Broadcast IT team is responsible for supporting and maintaining IT infrastructure at IMG’s Studios facility, supporting broadcast / television production environments.
As Broadcast IT Engineer, you will focus on supporting the current infrastructure and will be responsible for implementing new systems. You will work closely with the Broadcast IT team, Broadcast Engineering teams, Production Services as well as other SMEs and vendors.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a permanent role based at our facility in Stockley Park, Uxbridge and requires working onsite full-time.
The working hours are 12-shifts (8am-8pm) on a 7-day fortnight rotating shift pattern as per below:
Week 1: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
Week 2: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Key Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:
Provide proactive IT support and maintenance services across Broadcast and Engineering technologies in post-production and live studio environments
Analyse business requirements to develop technical solutions
Document, test and deploy infrastructure solutions
Carry out security patching of Windows and Linux systems
Perform troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose infrastructure issues
Liaise with external and internal system integrators, vendors, SMEs and stakeholders
Participate in knowledge transfer, documentation and information sharing
You Will Have The Following Strengths:
Strong experience working as an IT Engineer with knowledge and experience of Linux and Windows Servers, Cisco networks including firewalls, Nutanix, Active Directory, AWS.
Demonstrable knowledge of Network IT Security
Experience with configuring, maintenance and troubleshooting Cisco firewalls, routers and switches
Experience with CISCO LAN networking, firewall access lists, NAT, PAT, VPN profiles (IPsec and SSL).
We’d Love If You Also Have These (not essential):
Experience of working as an IT Engineer within a broadcast facility
Cisco Network qualification such as CCNA
Knowledge of encoding and content distribution platforms
Knowledge of broadcast technologies and workflows including Avid, EVS, Zixi, VizOne, Isilon Storage, Aspera, DAM, tape libraries, scripting, post-production, content delivery and VoD.
