Job Description:
Parsons is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bridges & Elevated Structures Expert to join our team for a prestigious rail project in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years of experience in the construction of metro/rail projects, with a strong focus on bridges and elevated structures. This role requires technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a proven track record in delivering large-scale infrastructure projects.
What You'll Be Doing:
Review and validate designs for bridges and elevated structures to ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards, and safety regulations.
Provide technical guidance and solutions to construction challenges related to bridges and elevated structures.
Oversee the construction activities of bridges and elevated structures, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including design consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
Implement quality control measures to ensure the structural integrity and durability of bridges and elevated structures.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to monitor construction progress and compliance.
Ensure all construction activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with the construction of bridges and elevated structures.
Collaborate with government authorities, project owners, and other stakeholders to address technical queries and ensure smooth project execution.
Prepare and present progress reports, technical documentation, and recommendations to stakeholders.
Introduce innovative construction techniques and materials to enhance efficiency and sustainability.
Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate best practices into project execution.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Minimum of 15 years of experience in metro/rail projects, with a focus on bridges and elevated structures.
Proven expertise in the design, construction, and management of large-scale infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of international standards and codes related to bridges and elevated structures.
Familiarity with advanced construction methodologies and technologies.
Skills / Competencies:
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Experience working in the Middle East region is an advantage.
